Ariana Marisol is a multi-talented Los Angeles based artist who explores the human experience through visual art. Born with an innate passion for artistic expression and an ever-growing curiosity and love for the complexities of life, Ariana’s goal is to always dive deep in their art practice. 

Painting with mostly oil paints, Ariana uses their brush to not only capture the beautiful moments of life, but also to tell a story. This deliberate choice allows them to infuse their work with a sense of authenticity and nostalgia, capturing moments that feel both intimate and candid. 

Ariana derives inspiration from the communities that have surrounded them throughout their life. Their distinctive artistic style is vibrant, dreamlike, and folkloric. The strong colors used in their paintings pay homage to their elders, their roots, and people of color throughout the world. The cultural beauty and power of the Afro diasporic experience are felt and expressed through their paintings.

Ariana has shown work in many galleries in Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, and in New Orleans, including the CAC. They also love painting murals and are happy to work with you on whatever vision you have to bring art into your space.
